final things
I'm as coherent in my decline as I hoped
; able to make choices with kindly and devoted partner; hoping to luck into better medical care. Dedicated what luck I could to life’s most needed amends and regret no part except tendentious passages among the preachy… they don’t need to plague me now. I do admire and salute the souls who serve in better-tuned generosity to the range of damaged species (of animal and art) on our sufficiently lovable planet, which we seem so eager to revise and to relinquish; I am not.

Am more in awe of you than ever, and boy-O-boy do you still smartly crack the whip.
